Questions and answers

About membership, payouts and the vendor program.

Membership

Who can join?

Anyone who knows homeowners: real estate agents, property managers, insurance agents, contractors in other trades, and anyone their friends and neighbors turn to for a recommendation.

Do I need a real estate license?

No. You earn for connecting people with home service companies, not for real estate business, so no license is needed.

How much does it cost?

$99 a year. Founding members reserve their spot now with no charge today, and membership starts when your market launches.

Where is it available?

We're launching first in Tampa Bay and opening more markets as vendors join. Sign up and tell us your area, and we'll let you know when it opens.

Introductions and payouts

How much can I earn?

Each vendor sets its own payout per paid job, and you see it before you make an introduction. Bigger jobs like roofs, HVAC systems and remodels pay the most.

When do I get paid?

After the vendor reports the job as completed and paid. Payouts go straight to your bank account by direct deposit.

What if the homeowner doesn't hire the pro?

Then there's no payout for that introduction. You're paid on completed, paid jobs. It costs you nothing to make an introduction.

Do I have to tell people I'm paid?

Yes. Every introduction includes a short line telling the homeowner you may receive a payment if they hire the pro. It's the honest thing to do, and for licensed agents it's typically required.

Will I get a tax form?

Yes. Members receive a 1099 for their annual earnings.

Is there anything I can't earn on?

Yes. Federal law (RESPA) does not allow payments for steering people to mortgage, title, escrow and closing, appraisal, home inspection or home warranty services, so those are not part of the network. Homeowner's insurance pays a small flat amount per introduction, never tied to a policy being bought.

Does my brokerage need to know?

Some brokerages ask agents to report outside income. Check your broker's policy when you join.

Vendors

How do vendors join?

Home service companies apply on our vendor page. We verify license and insurance and confirm the payout before a vendor goes live.

What does it cost a vendor?

A basic listing is free. Vendors pay the payout they set only when a job is completed and paid.

Are introductions shared with other companies?

No. Each introduction goes only to the pro the member recommends.
